It’s said that love is like a batik. Created from many emotional colors. It’s a fabric whose pattern and brightness may vary. One is never overdressed or under-dressed with Batik.
Batik is made either by drawing dots and lines of the resist with a spouted tool called a canting, or by printing the resist with a copper stamp called a cap. The applied wax resists dyes and therefore allows the artisan to color selectively by soaking the cloth in one color, removing the wax with boiling water, and repeating if multiple colors are desired.
Batik is my new hobby this summer. I’ve tried to make Batik for my holiday and it was the hardest thing to do! I always think that Batik is so lame and oldies but now Batik has their modern pattern which stole my heart and so eye catching.
I can’t stand heat, at all and thanks to Batik that’s made from a light cotton. It’s very comfortable to wear at almost any occasion. It’s acceptable attire if you live in Indonesia.
